Beasley recorded a season-high of 18 points (9-17 FG, 0-2 FT) during Saturday's overtime victory against the Kings, while also adding seven rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in 38 minutes. Beasley continues to make his case to the Heat to sign him for the rest of the season, as he's currently on his second 10-day contract. It was also a season-high in minutes for the forward, as the team was dealing with injuries to Luol Deng (thigh), Goran Dragic (back) and Hassan Whiteside (ankle), causing Beasley to play more minutes than he's used to. He will likely move back to playing in the mid-to-low 20's for minutes once those players are back, although the Heat could continue to give him extended run if his production remains this high. He's a player to watch moving forward.
