Kidd-Gilchrist scored a team-high 18 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 FT) with 12 rebounds and a steal in 42 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Bulls. MKG's looked very good since returning to the lineup from a minor hamstring issue, averaging 17.7 points on 56.4% field goal shooting with 7.3 boards in three games. Perhaps not coincidentally, that's when Mo Williams began filling in for Kemba Walker (knee) as the Hornets' point guard. Walker is out of action until at least mid-March, so Kidd-Gilchrist could have some surprising short-term value in the meantime.
