Griffin underwent successful surgery Monday to remove a staph infection from his right elbow, the Orange County Register reports.Griffin will be evaluated after three weeks of recovery, at which point his playing status will be clarified. In the meantime, Spencer Hawes is the Clippers' expected starter at power forward, with Glen Davis (back) also available to pick up the slack.
