Evans (illness) scored 25 points (11-22 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets. After racking up 24 assists over his previous two games, Evans focused on his scoring on Wednesday and let Eric Gordon handle the distribution duties. Evans has now scored 20 or more points in four of his last seven games, but if Anthony Davis' groin injury proves to be serious, look for him to take on a much bigger role in the Pelicans' offense.
