The Grizzlies declined a proposed trade which would have sent Tayshaun Prince and the No. 22 pick to Toronto for John Salmons and the No. 37 pick. The Grizzlies would have sacrificed a solid pick, which they turned into Jordan Adams, just to dump the remaining $7.7 million on Prince's contract. They're still eager to unload him, but are unlikely to find any takers for their unproductive, overpaid veteran SF. As for Salmons, the Raptors are fully expected to waive him before June 30 -- the final year on his contract is only guaranteed for $1 million.
