Capps re-signed with the Braves on a minor-league contract Monday, MLB.com reports.
Capps probably won't be one of the top choices when the Braves need another reliever, given that he didn't make it through the first round of cuts in spring training. After losing his last two seasons to shoulder injuries, the veteran right-hander faces a tough journey back to the big leagues.

An MRI has revealed that Matt Capps' shoulder strain is not related to last year's injury that required surgery.
Capps had a procedure last June to secure a biceps tendon in the joint, while his recent injury involves a muscle that runs behind the shoulder blade. "It's frustrating, because I was feeling really good," Capps said. "But I think the nature of the beast with a shoulder surgery, there's usually a speed bump or two. Hopefully, this is my one." Capps thinks he could pitch in Grapefruit League games by mid- to late-March, but he's obviously not going to crack the Opening Day roster.
