Reds signed RHP Greg Reynolds to a minor league contract.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2006 draft, Reynolds has put up a 7.47 ERA over 94 career major league innings and held a 5.30 ERA and ugly 69/46 K/BB ratio over 163 frames at Triple-A for the Rangers in 2012. He's merely organizational depth.

Rockies sent RHP Greg Reynolds outright to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Reynolds, 25, has an ugly 7.47 ERA and 40/36 K/BB ratio over 94 innings in the big leagues. Rockies fans probably don't need to be reminded that Evan Longoria, Clayton Kershaw and Tim Lincecum were selected after Reynolds (No. 2 overall) in the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.

Rockies recalled RHP Greg Reynolds from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Reynolds has been bouncing between Triple-A and the majors all year. He has a 5.16 ERA over 22 2/3 innings of big league relief but might get a chance to start due to the injury to Juan Nicasio. Reynolds is taking Nicasio's 25-man roster spot.
