Jason Repko has elected to become a free agent. Repko went 1-for-11 this past season with the Red Sox. He'll likely have to settle for a minor league deal.

Jason Repko (shoulder) joined Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday to continues his rehab assignment. Repko played three rehab games at Single-A Greenville without incident. The 31-year-old outfielder should be activated from the disabled list at some point this week.

A CT scan of Jason Repko's revealed no significant problems. Repko left Sunday's game in the sixth inning after being beaned in the head by a Justin Masterson fastball. He has a headache, but no concussion. Repko will probably get a few days off, but he wasn't playable in AL-only leagues anyway.
