Puig was removed from Sunday's game against the Dodgers with an apparent left arm injury, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Puig made a stellar catch down the right-field line as he lunged into the stands but was immediately grabbing at his left arm after making the catch. The 28-year-old attempted to stay in the game and grounded out to the pitcher in his next at-bat before exiting before the top of the eighth inning.

Puig went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Puig delivered a solo blast in the sixth inning off Madison Bumgarner to give the Reds a two-run lead, but they wouldn't be able to hang on for the victory. Puig has now homered in back-to-back ballgames, giving him seven long balls through 40 games this season.

Puig went 2-for-4 with a homer and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Puig welcomes the sight of Giants pitching. In six games against them, he is 10-for-22 with two homers, six RBI and three stolen bases. He has stolen a base in three consecutive games and is up to seven for the season.

Puig is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The Reds' recent decision to promote Nick Senzel from Triple-A Louisville presents more of a threat to Scott Schebler than Puig, who is simply getting a routine maintenance day after starting each of the past 15 games. With a .207/.242/.371 slash line across 124 plate appearances, Puig has been a major disappointment in his first season in Cincinnati, but he's at least shown signs of a breakthrough with five hits in nine at-bats in the first two games of the series.

Puig went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a 9-2 victory against the Giants on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old broke out of a 1-for-19 stretch Friday night with two hits, and he added three more, including a homer, Saturday. However, Puig's average is still just .207, which really indicates how rough of an April the outfielder experienced. He has five home runs, 17 RBI and 12 runs as well in 116 at-bats this season.

Puig went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Friday's 12-1 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
His two-run shot in the eighth inning off Tyler Webb was one of five homers by the Reds on the night. Puig is slashing only .202/.216/.381 through 23 games but he appears to be heating up, going 6-for-17 over the last four contests with two home runs and six RBI.

Puig went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a sacrifice fly in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Puig gave the Reds an early lead as he hit a 432-foot blast during the first inning and then brought home what proved to be the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly during the sixth inning. The 28-year-old was 2-for-20 with zero extra-base hits over his last six games entering Tuesday, so hopefully his multi-hit effort signifies the end of the slump.

Puig is not in the lineup Thursday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Puig started the previous six games for the Reds, during which he slashed .240/.240/.560 with a pair of homers and a pair of stolen bases. He'll hit the bench for Thursday's series opener as the Reds deploy an outfield of Matt Kemp, Scott Schebler and Jesse Winker (from left to right).

Puig went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
He wasted no time in adding another memorable moment to his career at Chavez Ravine, taking Clayton Kershaw deep in the first inning of his first game against the Dodgers since the offseason trade to Cincy. Puig is slashing just .191/224/.383 through 13 games, but he's homered in back-to-back games to account for his only long balls of the year.

Puig went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double Sunday in the Reds' 9-5 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
After managing no home runs and only two extra-base hits through his first 11 games of 2019, Puig at least temporarily halted his power drought in the series finale. Even after the positive day at the dish, Puig is still sitting on a lowly .502 OPS and a 26.7 percent strikeout rate, both of which are by far career-worst marks. He'll hope a return to Dodger Stadium for the start of a three-game series Monday will help spark his dormant bat.
