Willie Bloomquist received a series of injections in his lower back Tuesday. Bloomquist said Saturday that he had yet to feel a difference. "It usually takes a little while for it to start working," Bloomquist said. "I'm trying to be patient and letting the medicine work, but nothing has really happened too much at this point. I'm just taking it day by day and see what happens." The veteran utilityman won't play this weekend and will be re-evaluated early this week.
