Ty Wigginton homered for the sixth time in seven games in the Rockies loss to the White Sox on Wednesday. Wigginton has erupted following a slow start this season, providing 46.2 percent of his power output in the past seven days. Needless to say, keep him in your mixed-league lineup until he cools off.

Ty Wigginton's walk-off single led the Rockies to a 3-2 victory in 13 innings over the White Sox. With two outs in the 13th, Wigginton singled in Troy Tulowitzki off Will Ohman. It was Wigginton's only hit in six at-bats. He's homered five times in his past six games and has a nice .267/.317/.510 slash line on the season.

Ty Wigginton stayed hot on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a pair of solo homers in Colorado's 6-4 loss at Yankee Stadium. Wigginton went deep three times in Colorado's three-game trip to the Bronx, and has now homered five times in his past four games. If you've been desperately searching for an answer at third base in your mixed league, there's no shame in riding Wigginton while he's hot.

Ty Wigginton clubbed a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Yankees. It was his fourth home run in the past six games. Wigginton is now batting .279 with eight homers and 20 RBI since the start of May. With eligibility at second base in most formats, he's well worth using in mixed leagues at the moment.

Ty Wigginton is hitting .281 with seven home runs since batting .233 in April. Wigginton got off to a slow start in his new home, but now looks like the Rockies answer at third base after both Ian Stewart and Jose Lopez flamed out. Wigginton's power numbers are maybe a little less impressive than they were expected to be in the thin air of Colorado, but he is still well within reach of his fifth career 20-homer season.

Ty Wigginton homered twice and drove in three runs on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough for the Rockies in their 4-3 loss to the Indians. Wigginton tagged Josh Tomlin for a solo shot in the fifth before getting him again for a two-run bomb in the seventh. The multi-homer game was his first since May 15, 2010. He is now the owner of a .266/.322/.489 triple slash through his first 206 plate appearances this season.

A fifth inning solo home run from Ty Wigginton would be all the offense the Rockies could muster in a 9-1 loss to the Tigers on Sunday. Wigginton's first blast in seven games was just his second of the month and seventh of the year. Although he is batting a solid .267 through his first 176 at-bats, expectations for Wigginton's power output in the thin air of Colorado were greater entering the season.
