Morgan signed a deal with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization, MyKBO.net reports. Morgan saw brief time with the Indians in 2014, where he actually posted decent numbers in a small sample size, slashing .341/.429/.439 over 52 Major League plate appearances. He'll now head overseas, and at 34 years old, a return to MLB seems unlikely.

Morgan (knee) has been activated from the disabled list and released by the Indians, Zack Meisel of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports. With additional outfield depth at their disposal following the emergence of Chris Dickerson, the Indians simply had no use for Morgan at this stage and opted to give him a release to make him available to other clubs.

Nyjer Morgan will get a second opinion on his ailing right knee this week from Dr. Christopher Parker. Morgan has missed nearly two months with a sprained PCL in his right knee and has yet to resume baseball activities. "I don't know if it's a setback," said Indians manager Terry Francona. "I think he just wants to get a second opinion, which they're always encouraged to do."

Nyjer Morgan has been diagnosed with a sprained PCL in his right knee. Morgan will not require surgery. It's not clear at this point how long he'll be sidelined, but it doesn't seem like something that will require an extra long stay on the disabled list.

Nyjer Morgan left Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays with a mild right knee sprain. The kicker is that Morgan was only in the game because of an injury to Michael Brantley. The term "mild" suggests it's not a serious issue and Morgan should be back soon. Still, with two outfielder's down the Indians may need to make a roster move before Thursday's game.

Nyjer Morgan went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Rays. Morgan's first home run of the year was also his first since July 30, 2012. It was the third time he crossed the plate on the afternoon, giving him eight runs in 14 games played this year. With Michael Bourn struggling, it wouldn't be surprising to see Morgan and his .341/.429/.439 line get more playing time in the coming days.

Indians recalled OF Nyjer Morgan from Triple-A Columbus. Morgan was demoted last month even after hitting .348/.484/.348 with three steals over nine games. He'll provide some depth in center field while Michael Bourn (hamstring) is banged up.

Indians option OF Nyjer Morgan to Triple-A Columbus. The move clears a spot for Michael Bourn's return from the disabled list. Morgan played well during his time with the Indians, hitting .348 (8-for-23) with three stolen bases in nine games. We'll likely see him in the majors again soon.
