Adcock (elbow) received an invitation to attend Orioles spring training, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Adcock has yet to pitch since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August of 2015. Over 56 career games (123 innings) in the majors, Adcock has built a 4.17 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. Adcock (elbow) has agreed to a minor league contract with the Orioles, Baseball America reports
EDGE Analysis
Adcock split time between Triple-A and the majors in the Reds organization. He pitched well in the minors, posting a solid 2.96 ERA with Triple-A Louisville, but he unfortunately was hit hard in the majors, as evidenced by his 6.00 ERA with the Reds. The 28-year-old is coming off of Tommy John surgery in August, so he won't be available to pitch for most if not all of the 2016 season.

Adcock has agreed to a minor league deal with the Reds, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports. Adcock chose free agency after he was assigned to triple-A by Texas, and must have felt the Reds gave him the best chance to make it back into the majors in the near future. In seven appearances in the majors, Adcock posted an ERA of 4.5 and a WHIP of 1.6.

Adcock elected free agency after being assigned to Triple-A Round Rock, Rangers vice president John Blake announced. Adcock will be looking for minor league deals that offer him the best shot of making the major league team, but offers will likely be slim. Adcock has a career 1.476 career WHIP and hasn't shown he can be anywhere above replacement level in his career so far.

Adcock was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday. His banishment to the minors clears the way for the promotion of Robbie Ross, who will take over Yu Darvish's (elbow) spot in the rotation. Adcock had given up five earned runs over 10 innings out of the Texas bullpen.
