Trout was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left hamate fracture, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout suffered the unfortunate injury on a swing during Monday's loss to the Padres. It's something which typically results in an absence of at least a month and perhaps much longer. Players also often have trouble regaining all of their power initially upon returning. The Angels have recalled Jo Adell and he could see some starts in Trout's place. Most of the playing time in center field figures to go to Mickey Moniak, though.

Trout, who exited Monday's game against the Padres with a left wrist injury, went for X-rays and said he's hoping it's just a sprain, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He suffered the injury while fouling off a pitch and left the game with the trainer. Trout was in a lot of pain after the game and acknowledged he's concerned about the injury. It's quite possible he has played his last game of the first half, and the team should announce an official diagnosis sometime Tuesday.

Trout left Monday's loss to the Padres in the eighth inning with an injury to his left hand, the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout fouled a ball off at the plate and shook his left hand and then left with a trainer. It's not clear the severity of the injury or the specifics of the injury. He may need a day off in any scenario.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and three strikeouts in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Trout went six games without a homer entering Sunday. The outfielder started the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning. For the season, he's up to 18 homers, 43 RBI, 54 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .260/.365/.493 slash line through 80 contests. He struggled in June, batting .227 while striking out and a 27.5 percent clip, and with six strikeouts in eight plate appearances to begin July, it's a trend worth monitoring.

Trout is not in the lineup Tuesday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
It's a routine night off for Trout, who tallied his second stolen base of the year but also struck out three times in Monday's series opener versus Chicago. Taylor Ward, Mickey Moniak and Hunter Renfroe will start across the outfield for the Angels on Tuesday.

Trout went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in a 2-1 victory versus the White Sox on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout struck out in each of his first three plate appearances, but he found a way to help the Angels pull out the win in the ninth. The star outfielder walked to lead off that frame, advanced to second on a Shohei Ohtani walk, succeeded in a double steal with Ohtani and scored the walk-off run on a wild pitch. Despite Monday's heroics, Trout is long past the days when he was a near lock for double-digit steals -- since 2020, he's tallied just six thefts in seven attempts.

Trout went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 25-1 rout of the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels struck early and often, so Trout got some rest, exiting for pinch hitter Andrew Velazquez in the fifth inning. It was still a productive game for Trout, who has gone 8-for-21 (.381) with three homers and four RBI over his last six games. The star outfielder is up to 17 homers, 41 RBI, 50 runs scored, one stolen base and a .258/.366/.491 slash line on the year through 325 plate appearances. While his ratios are down, he's at least enjoyed good health so far, putting him in line to exceed his counting stats from 2022.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Trout went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani in the fifth inning, but the Angels' offense stalled out after that. This was Trout's third homer in June, but he's struggled by hitting .164 (11-for-67) over 19 contests this month. The slump has him down to a .250/.358/.474 slash line with 16 long balls, 40 RBI, 47 runs scored and one stolen base through 72 games this season.

Trout went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Trout linked up with Shohei Ohtani to club back-to-back home runs off Zack Greinke in the fifth frame. The long ball was his 15th of the season, which is the seventh-most in the American League, while Sunday's tilt marked his second straight mult-hit effort. Through 69 games, Trout is slashing .257/.364/.479 with 46 runs scored and 39 RBI.

Trout is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Although he reached base four times in Monday's win over the Rangers, Trout is hitting just .132/.306/.211 so far in June. He'll have a day off to reset. Mickey Moniak is playing center field and batting seventh.
