Kemp went 2-for-5 with a two-run home and scored twice Wednesday against Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp's fourth-inning blast was his 34th of the season, and plated his 105th and 106th RBI. He's been more than the Braves could have wished for when acquiring the 32-year-old veteran from the Padres earlier in the year. Since moving to Atlanta, Kemp's numbers are in line with -- and in some cases, even better than -- his impressive career averages. The outfielder is swinging a red-hot stick in the final days of the campaign, hitting .337 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 19 runs in 89 at-bats this month.

Kemp is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp owns a robust 1.024 OPS in September, but he also has not had a day off since Aug. 11 and struck out three times in four at-bats Monday, so manager Brian Snitker felt it was time for a day off. Mallex Smith will get the start in left field in Kemp's place.

Kemp was ejected from Friday's game for arguing balls and strikes.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp didn't hide his displeasure with a questionable call on a would-be ball four to Nick Markakis and was tossed between innings, and on his birthday no less. Manager Brian Snitker stuck up for Kemp and was also ejected. Mallex Smith took over for Kemp in left field.

Kemp went 2-for-4 with a pair of homers and three RBI against the Marlins on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Getting liberated from San Diego has been a boon for Kemp even if it took him to another bad team in the Braves -- since moving to Atlanta, he's hitting .295/.346/.521, up across the board from his stats as a Padre. Kemp's quietly blown past 30 homers for the second time and 100 RBI for the fourth time, thanks in no small part to a burning-hot September in which he's hitting .361 with seven homers and 18 RBI over 20 games.

Kemp went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a sacrifice fly Saturday in a 4-3 win over the Mets.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp's performance Saturday continues his strong September, in which he's hitting .325/.364/.650 with four homers and 11 RBI. His solo shot in the sixth inning gives him 30 homers for the second consecutive season. With 97 RBI, he's on pace for his highest yearly total since he plated 126 in 2011.

Kemp went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, two walks and strikeout in a 6-4 loss to the Mets Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp has rediscovered his swagger after being traded to Atlanta this summer, and teaming up with Freddie Freeman and Dansby Swanson has been a formula for success. He is slashing .3244/.343/.402 for the month of September and now has 29 homers and 95 RBI on the season.

Kemp went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, four RBI overall and two runs in Friday's 8-4 victory over the Phillies.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran slugger had his best game in a Braves uniform to date, bringing in half of the team's runs on the night. Kemp's big blast was a 401-foot shot to center in the fifth that plated Adonis Garcia and Freddie Freeman. He added a ninth-inning RBI single that once again brought Garcia home and extended Atlanta's lead to 6-4 at the time. Kemp now has three straight multi-hit efforts, hitting .500 (7-for-14) with a homer and seven RBI over that span.

Kemp went 2-for-5 with a solo homer Sunday against the Nationals.

EDGE Analysis

Kemp has only left the yard twice since joining the Braves on August 2, and he's slashing .260/.292/.479 on the year. However, he only needs one more homer to equal his highest output since 2012.

Kemp is out of the lineup Thursday against the Brewers.

EDGE Analysis

He has started every game since joining the Braves at the trade deadline but will get the day game off Thursday. Jeff Francoeur will get the start in left field and hit seventh in place of Kemp.

Kemp finished 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 13-5 win over the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

The Braves' new outfielder broke the club's highest run total of the season with a two-run jack in the ninth, the last of four in the game -- also a season-high for the team. Kemp's first home run with Atlanta -- his 24th of the season -- was just his second hit in 18 at-bats since joining the club on August 2. He holds an underwhelming line of .255/.283/.482 on the season.
