Josh Bell has officially signed on with Korea's LG Twins. The deal was reported last week and has now become official. Bell had agreed to a minor league deal with the Dodgers last month but will get a nice bump in salary by playing overseas.

Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Wednesday that Josh Bell's deal with the LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization could happen "any day now." Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reported over the weekend that the deal was done, but Bell is still the property of the Dodgers at the moment. However, an official agreement with the LG Twins sounds like a formality.

According to Eric Stephen of True Blue LA, the Dodgers are saying that they still have Josh Bell under contract. It was reported over the weekend that Bell had agreed to a deal with the LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization, but it's either not official yet or the Dodgers don't plan on letting him go so easily. The 27-year-old agreed to a minor league deal with Los Angeles last month.

The LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization have signed INF Josh Bell, a source tells Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net. Bell was once one of the top prospects in baseball but was never able to have sustained success at the MLB level. The 27-year-old split 2013 between the Yankees and White Sox organizations, batting .226/.324/.356 in 52 games. He signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers in December, but it seems he's elected to try his hand overseas instead.

Dodgers signed 3B Josh Bell to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Bell was a top prospect when he was last with the Dodgers, but he's bottomed out since then. The 27-year-old spent all of 2013 at Triple-A with the White Sox and Yankees, batting just .226/.324/.356 with five homers over 52 games. He's merely organizational depth.

Yankees released 3B Josh Bell. The former top prospect has batted just .226/.324/.356 at the Triple-A level for the White Sox and Yankees this season. He's still just 26 and will get another shot somewhere, but the odds of him making an impact in the majors these days aren't high.

White Sox released 3B Josh Bell. Bell was hitting .273/.310/.345 with four doubles, four RBI and a .656 OPS in 15 games with Triple-A Charlotte. The 26-year-old has struggled in his previous opportunities in the majors and will hope to latch on elsewhere as organizational depth.
