Wright's back stiffened up again and he will be shut down for another week, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal reports. Wright took batting practice Friday and appeared to be nearing a rehab assignment, but evidently he did not respond well overnight as the Mets been forced to pump the brakes with him yet again. A hamstring strain sent Wright to the DL in mid-April, but the back issues have been the primary concern throughout May and a timetable for his return is up in the air following this setback.
