Wieters (elbow) took part in live batting practice Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Wieters has been making solid strides lately, and is tentatively scheduled to serve as the designated hitter in a rehab game Tuesday. There's still no definitive timetable, but the catcher has remained confident that he'll be able to make a return by the start of May.
