Wieland will be traded to the Dodgers as part of the package for outfielder Matt Kemp, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports. Wieland bounced around the Padres' farm system in 2014, and was eventually able to log 11.1 innings at the Major League level. If he sticks with the big league club, the right-hander will compete for a back-end rotation spot, and could also be used in long relief.
