Upton is not in the lineup Thursday against the Pirates. Prior to sitting Tuesday, Upton had started seven consecutive games for the Braves, but he'll head back to the bench Thursday as Emilio Bonifacio takes over in center field. Upton is batting just .189/.296/.293 since the All-Star break, and his struggles over the past two seasons surely had a lot to do with Frank Wren losing his job as general manager.
