The Minnesota Twins will call up right-hander Fernando Romero and send right-hander Phil Hughes to the bullpen to make room for the rookie in the rotation. Hughes missed most of April after suffering an oblique strain during spring training and has made just two starts in 2018, posting a 7.71 ERA in seven innings of work. Romero can hit 98 MPH and has posted a 2.57 ERA in four appearances in Triple-A.
