The 25-year-old will get his first major-league opportunity since 2014 as the White Sox reward All-Stars Chris Sale and Jose Quintana with extra rest. Turner, who missed nearly all of 2015 with elbow issues, has posted unsightly numbers with Triple-A Charlotte this season (4.71 ERA, 1.44 WHIP) and it's hard to imagine he'll stick around once Carlos Rodon is cleared to return.
