Trout (wrist) is in the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Twins, Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports.

Trout suffered a thumb injury in Sunday's tilt with the Indians. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative, and he was diagnosed with a right thumb contusion. The Angels will avoid putting him in the field Monday, as Trout is in the lineup at DH. He is also batting third in the order. Expect the Angels to be cautious with their star center fielder if he experiences any form of setback.
