Soria (finger) threw a bullpen session Friday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Soria landed on the injured list Aug. 4 with inflammation in his right middle finger. The veteran right-hander hander resumed throwing last week, and he's now progressed to mound work. It's possible that he'll be activated later this weekend so long as he comes out of Friday's session with no problems. Soria figures to be given plenty of high-leverage opportunities after being reinstated.
