Thole was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo after the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports. With Dioner Navarro (hamstring) ready to return from the disabled list, the Jays got one last start out of Thole, who went 2-for-4 in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader. Thole doesn't figure to get another shot in the majors until September, unless Navarro or Russell Martin suffers an injury.
