The Red Sox do not plan to use David Ortiz as a replacement for Napoli on a regular basis, the Providence Journal reports. Napoli, who has five hits in his last 46 at-bats (.109), was given a day off Sunday. While Ortiz may not be a sustainable option to replace Napoli, Brock Holt could be, once Dustin Pedroia (hamstring) is activated. At any rate, we expect Napoli back in the lineup Tuesday night against Miami.
