Teaford has cleared waivers and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Teaford was DFA'd on Tuesday, and he apparently didn't draw outside interest. The 30-year-old hasn't shown any ability to miss bats at the big-league level, but he does have experience working as both a starter and reliever.
