Springer led off the bottom of the first with a homer and added another solo shot in the bottom of the fifth Thursday in a 4-2 win over Baltimore.

EDGE Analysis

It'd odd to see Springer leading off because power has definitively been his hallmark -- he now has 11 homers, but has been caught on six of his nine steal attempts. He does draw walks and get on base, but Springer's ultimate place is in the middle of the lineup; unfortunately for those counting on him for RBI, the Astros have no shortage of low-average power hitters who they need to fit into heart of the the order.
