Soto (knee) was activated from the DL following Tuesday's game, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The veteran catcher went 2-for-13 with a home run on his recent rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake. In a very small sample size (74 plate appearances), Soto has a .284/.333/.478 slash line this year, but his other recent big league campaigns are a lot less impressive. Carlos Perez was optioned to Triple-A to make room for Soto, who will slot in as the backup to Jett Bandy.
