Solano went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over the Phillies. Following a season of uncertainty at the keystone for the Marlins, Solano has functioned as a regular for the final six weeks of the season. He doesn't bring a whole lot of offensive upside as indicated by the .249/.301/.317 slash he's put together in 293 at-bats, but provides a solid glove for the team. Expect Solano to compete with the defensively challenged Derek Dietrich for the starting job at second base next spring.
