Schafer (knee) is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. It was initially reported that Schafer suffered a sprained MCL, but the outfielder then said that his knee is fine. The Twins will have him undergo additional testing, with Shane Robinson manning center field in the meantime. This isn't a bad game for Schafer to miss, given that the Twins are facing an elite southpaw in Chicago's Chris Sale.
