Sale allowed two runs on three hits in 6.2 innings Sunday, but he still took the loss to the Rays. He struck out 12 and walked three, but the White Sox's offense was unable to spot him more than one run. The outing made Sale the first pitcher since Pedro Martinez to strike out 12+ batters in four consecutive starts, and he is just the third pitcher overall since 1914 to accomplish the feat. Sale is also averaging 118 pitches per start over his past four contests, and his usage is worth monitoring.
