Sabathia (knee) will pitch in a simulated game Thursday. Sabathia has been throwing regularly in the spring, and has reported that his knee is back to 100 percent after undergoing arthroscopic surgery last July. The club is playing it safe with the lefty and even though there's not timetable for a Grapefruit League debut, both the team and Sabathia expect he'll be ready by Opening Day.
