Ruf will start his sixth straight game Sunday against the Mets, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. Ruf was initially projected to serve primarily as a platoon mate for Ryan Howard at first base, but he's starting to become a lineup regular in left field, where he's effectively displaced the aging duo of Grady Sizmore and Jeff Francoeur. While Ruf's contact issues likely won't allow his batting average to rise much higher than its current .203 mark, the power he's capable of providing at least makes him worth a look in NL-only formats.
