Royals optioned RHP Vin Mazzaro to Triple-A Omaha. He's been up and down multiple times with the big club this season, posting a 6.12 ERA over nine games -- six starts. Mazzaro will return to a 4.53 ERA in 10 games -- eight starts -- at Triple-A.
