He was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to an illness, then got hit by a pitch that likely caused his leave from Wednesday's game. Fortunately, a contusion shouldn't keep him out long, though he doesn't receive starts on a consistent basis, so it may be tough to judge when he's healthy.
