Reyes is suffering from an oblique injury, but hopes to avoid the disabled list by taking a couple days of rest, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports. Reyes can likely be ruled out for Friday and Saturday, if not the whole weekend series. However, a stint on the disabled list still seems like a possibility at this point. The club will likely provide an update on his status at some point after taking a couple days off.
