Reddick will get some dry swings in Wednesday for the first time since injuring his oblique early in spring training, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. Reddick was initially believed to be disabled list-bound after the injury, but hope has emerged with his most recent progress. While he still remains a ways off from returning to the field, the dry swings represent another step in his recovery. The next step would likely include hitting off a tee followed by a batting cage session before rejoining the lineup. His status for Opening Day still remains up in the air, however.
