Rangers signed C Dusty Brown to a minor league contract. Brown has received a handful of at-bats the last couple years with the Pirates and Red Sox but has spent most of his time at the Triple-A level. He's likely to be Triple-A Round Rock's starting backstop in 2012 with Taylor Teagarden now in Baltimore.
