Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said Thursday that there's an outside chance Prince Fielder (neck) could take some swings before the end of the season. The first baseman isn't going to return this year after having surgery for cervical fusion of the C5-C6 discs in his neck back in May. But, it would be a nice step and help ease Fielder's mind going into the offseason if he's able to begin swinging the bat in September.
