Porcello picked up his third win of the season Tuesday, tossing seven shutout innings while scattering eight hits and fanning six Rays. Porcello did not issue a walk for the first time in six starts this season and he did not give up a home run for just the second time. Since coming to Boston in the offseason, Porcello has seen his ground-ball rate dip to a career-low 44.2 percent and his K-rate jump to a career-best 21.2 percent. While that may sound like a solid change for his fantasy stock, the lack of grounders appears to be hurting his ERA and WHIP so the extra strikeouts are coming at a price.
