EDGE Analysis
The Red Sox supported him with 13 runs, plenty more than he needed as he put together his sixth consecutive quality start. Now in the eighth year of his MLB career, the 27-year-old Porcello finally looks like he's turned the corner and grown into the pitcher he was hyped to become as a prospect. He's striking out nearly a batter per inning, by far a career-best mark, and is limiting the free passes effectively. Some strand-rate regression should bring his ERA up a bit, but after all these years, fantasy owners have reached the point where owning Porcello is a pleasure rather than cause for heartburn.
