Porcello allowed seven runs on seven hits in two innings in Wednesday's loss to Toronto. He served up three more homers and has now allowed 16 long balls in 16 starts. Porcello's grasp on a rotation spot is shaky right now, as his ERA ballooned to 6.08, the second highest in the majors. He's scheduled to start next Tuesday against the Marlins, but with some days off coming, the Red Sox could skip Porcello's turn right through the All-Star break.
