Pollock (elbow) went 1-for-3 with an RBI, two walks, and a stolen base in his first rehab game with Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks want Pollock to play a few games at the Triple-A level before activating him from the disabled list, and he got his stint off to a quick start Saturday. The team has not said exactly how many games Pollock will play with Reno, but he posted a 1.251 OPS over his first nine minor-league games, so he should not need to do too much more convincing before the team activates him. That move could come at some point this week.
