Pineda (6-2) gave up a solo homer, but no other runs over 6.2 innings Wednesday against the Royals. He struck out eight, allowing six hits and a walk. He'd struggled over his last two outings, taking a pair of losses while allowing 12 runs (nine earned) on 18 hits in just 11.1 innings, but Pineda bounced right back with a dominant effort. It looks like we might be in for some inconsistency, and it's questionable how many innings he has in him after only 76.1 last year, but Pineda's been one of the trustier fantasy starters around. He'll go against his old team, the Mariners, on Monday.
