Perez was granted his unconditional release Sunday. Having failed to make the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Perez will likely look to join an organization that gives him a better shot to eventually reach the majors. He'll probably have to settle for a minor league contract, after posting a 4.27 ERA and 39:25 K:BB over 46.1 innings for the Dodgers last year.
