Peralta was placed on the 15-day DL on Monday with a rib-cage strain. Manager Craig Counsell said Peralta will miss at least four weeks with the injury. David Goforth will be recalled Tuesday to take Peralta's spot on the roster, but Peralta's replacement in the rotation is to be determined. Michael Blazek could be an option after tossing three scoreless, one-hit innings in relief of Peralta on Friday.
