Peralta (4-8) allowed two runs on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts over six innings in a loss Tuesday to Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta notched a quality start in his first start back in the majors since June 11, something he failed to do in each of his final six starts before his demotion. Unfortunately, it's hard to get too excited about this start -- Peralta had a horrid 6.31 ERA in 10 starts at Triple-A Colorado Springs. His success Monday was likely more due to the awful Braves lineup, which is dead last in the National League at 3.56 runs scored per game.
