Pena is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs. After handling duties behind the plate Tuesday night while Devin Mesoraco rested, Pena will bow out of the lineup Wednesday. He still looks like the Reds' preferred first base option until Joey Votto returns, so regular at-bats should continue to come his way.
