Paul Maholm tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees. Maholm allowed three hits and was wild, walking four, but he was able to escape damage. The left-hander now has a 5.40 ERA over his first three appearances this spring.
